Help with slot/socket cooler please!

How do I know if I want a slot or socket cooler, and which one should I get? I'll have a Duron based system (socket A). Thanks!

Socket 7, Socket 370 and Socket 462's(aka Socket A for AMD Duron's and Socket A Thunderbirds) all use the same form factor HSF.

All Durons are socket 462 so you'll need a socket cooler. According to this review http://www.dansdata.com/duron.htm the golden orb for socket cpu's won't fit. http://www.thermaltake.com now have a listing for socket 462 golden orb's. I don't know if any other socket coolers have problems with the Duron though.
