I just bought my first scsi and dumb ass that I am needs a little help. I got a Tekram dc390u3w and a cheetah x15 8.4gigs that I'm planning to install my OS with.

1. Do I setup the ID for the x15 or just leave it to ID0?

2. Where do I put the terminator that came with the dc390u3w?

3. Any other info that can help me 😉

TIA

1. leave the id to 0, and if you are booting off this drive make sure that the boot target is set to id0.

2. the terminator should go on the end of the lvd cable... should be at the very opposite end of the card when looking down the scsi cable. the hard drive should be inbetween the terminator and the card.

Doesn't matter, except not 7, that is for the adapter itself.

I put mine on the very end of the cable.

It depends on what type of drive you have. 68 is for the lvd. I am assuming that's what you have, so the cable should be the same - just make sure it is rated at u-160.
