Hi all. I was wondering... do i have to install SATA raid drivers if i only plan to use 1 SATA as my only hard drive? not planning to setup a Raid SATA.

This will be on an MSI K8n Neo2 Platinum.

Absolutely not. You do however need to setup SATA IDE controller to enabled in your motherboard bios.

You only need the RAID drivers if you plan on running in RAID 0, 1 or 0+1 whatever your motherboard SATA controllers support.
