Help with s-video

As bumped here, whenever I connect my 9600XT's s-video out to my TV via an RCA adapter (that came with the card) all I see are what should be the background, but is very distorted, scanning upwards, and in black and white. Anyone know how to fix this?

s-video is crap. try setting your res to 640x480 that is the native res for t.v's unless its HDTV.

It already it. And I'm not doing this for your viewing pleasure, so no thanks on the whole opinion thing.

I would think the refresh rate would also have to be right. Does it know it is connected to a TV and not a monitor? On the nVidia's I think that is a separate setting.
