Hello! I have an original release G910 spark from Logitech and, despite the poor durability reviews, it lasted me up until a few months ago. Then the chattering happened, all of a sudden, on 5 different keys. In addition, one key flat out failed to register unless pressed really hard. I did some research online and after several disassembly/reassembly cycles and swapping switches around, exchanging problem switches with those I never used like the G keys, I'm left with a keyboard that ALMOST works correctly.
So, this is where my question comes in. I still have one key that chatters (double register) every other press more or less. I've cleaned the back of the circuit board with 96% denatured alcohol as well as replaced this switch twice and it still chatters. So I doubt its the switch itself, yet every other key I've repaired seems to work correctly now. Any ideas on what other steps I can take? Apart from tossing the whole thing?
Thanks!
