my lcd's max refresh rate is 76....how do i change it if i cant even see my desktop =(

PLEASE HELP ME ='(

edit: fixed the local MAN center rofl

If you hit F8 while booting Windows, you can come up in standard VGA mode (640x480, 60Hz), which will let you fix your video settings. Booting in Safe Mode might also work.

are you sure? i hope so. cause i tried safe mode and it doesnt let me change ANY of my video settings

Im sorry.. that was just funny. 🙂

You shoudlnt be using the max for your LCD, 60hz is where it should be. Hz doesnt work the same was as LCDs that it does for CRTs.

Odd... you should be able to modify them (I think).

You can also come up in Safe Mode and uninstall your video card's drivers through Device Manager. This will force Windows to redetect your video card when you next boot up, and it will come up with safe defaults that your LCD should be able to display.

Nothing. I personally think the 2d quality is better with 75Hz on my LCD.
