Please help me to decide on a receiver in the $300.00 range. Refurbished ok.
Receiver is for a 3.1 system in my bedroom. (13X14ft. mostly for watching TV
2 front speakers, a subwoofer, and a RECEIVER someone had recommended Denon however
I don’t remember what model.
system will be used mostly for low to medium volume listing
watfhing TV.
Looking for something with some type of Audyssey.
Please advise, recommend.
Thank You, alexander

I would go with a Marantz NR1402/1403. They don't use a ton of power, they run cold, sounds good, and have the Audyssey.

I've got a NR1401 that I use for my 2.1 set up and I haven't had any problems with it. I occasionally throw up my rear speakers and use the mic to calibrate them when I'm watching a Blue Ray.
