Help with Radeon LE Hack?

Hey guys, I've read through a lot of guides to hack the radeon LE and
all of them ask me to edit the following file

HKEY_LOCAL_mACHINE\SOFTWARE\ATI TECHNOLOGIES\DRIVER\0000\ATIDXHAL.

But I only have "Hkey......ATI technologies\desktops\0000"

Is this the same thing? Should I add the new strings here?


I'm running a duron 800 with WIN2k with directx8 and lastest ATI drivers.
When I installed my card, I didn't intsall from the cd but went straight
to the newest drivers downloaded.

Also...

I down loaded powerstrip and have not figured a way to OC the card.
I don't even see where it shows the core and memory speeds.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A much better program IMO is Humus's "Raid-On Tweaker"

You can find it at Rage3d.com

You may have to go to the may archives, but you should be able to find it. Last I saw the latest version was 5.1

In it you can enable the reg hacks, overclock, and even do other tweaks that you probably don't even know about. I'd recommend NOT messing with the memory timings. If you set them wrong your card will display nothing but garbage (till you reboot).

with that tweaker can you set the refresh rate higher than 60hz in Windows 2000?

If I had Win2k, I would check that for you, but in '98, it lets me choose from 60-160.
