hi ppl,

I like Canons and Epsons mostly because you can get aftermarket ink very cheap. Now a HP and lexmark the ink cost a arm and a leg. So I am still using my Canon 6000, even thiugh the blue just dies the otgher day, and for less than $10 I can get all new color and black ink.

But after you find a couple of good printers, go and look at the prices f INK and if you can get aftermarket ink for it.

Just because the printer is cheap does not mean the ink will be.

And try and get the fastest one that prints. I hate slow printers.

Not sure about Canon, but Epson 'chips' their carts so it's more complicated to refill them / find aftermarket. YMMV.

I get my HP 932c's ink cartridge refilled for $16.99CAD 🙂
Great printer BTW... put 2000+ pages through it in the last 2 years, no problems EVAR.

Damn, why below $80? How about under $100??? Find a $30 off $150 coupon for Staples and get the i550 which sells for $149.99. Plus, there is a $30 mail-in rebate. This will get you down to $90 + tax. Can I have my cookie now??
