Hello All,

My friend asked me to help him pick out the parts for his new gaming PC.

If you had 3k to work with what would you build?
 
spend 1/2 ~$1500, $3000is ridiculous and will not future proof him..

if he wants to o/c get a venice 3200, if not maybe a 3800, msi nf4ulta m/b, 6800GT pci-3, 1GB of some good ram - like the tccd stuff (ocz, mushkin, corsair, something with 2-2-2-5 or 2-3-2-5 settings) ~sata hdd / 500W good 24pin native (ocz, fortron, xclio, enermax) ps, nice 17-19" 8ms lcd, decent case that he likes and some decent hsfs

this should sum it up
