Help with overclocking

slimbim

I have a Pentium III 600 EB on Tyan Trinity 400 Mobo.
I was trying to see if I can overclock. I tried setting the jumpers for setting multipliers, but no matter what jumper settings I use, it will always boot up as 600 MHz.
Any ideas on how to overclock this cpu on this mobo??

Thanks a bunch.

the processor you are using is multiplier locked. if you want to oveclock this cpu you must raise the front side bus (FSB), but depending on the motherboard and components you have this may stress some things, but it is the only way to o/c intel cpu's.
feel free to PM me if you need more information.

The only way to OC is to bump the FSB. Since you are already at 133, I dont think you can go much higher (maybe 150 but your RAM has to be able to handle it).
