Help with overclocking 2.5 ghz P4 - UPDATED - OVERCLOCKING RESULTS POSTED - PLZ HELP

your temps are well within tolerance, dont forget the 2.5 has 20% more wattage(more heat), and requires slightly more voltage.. i would say your temps are actually good.
if you want you can rub the aluminum block w/ some 500A and then 600 A 3-M emery paper to take some ridges out of the block. that might drop you a degree .
from what ive read, 2.9 is the average for this chip.

when the overclockers 'data base' has postings for your chip, dont believe everything you read there.

Okay, thanks a lot. I'm gonna turn the voltage up to around 1.65 and run 3dmark and then try turnign up clock speed one more notch and run 3dmark again.
Will let you know how it goes, thanks for all help.
