Help with overclock

JD50

Lifer
Sorry if this is a noob question, but I'm just overclocking for the first time. I'm using an ASUS P5K (not the deluxe) and the cpu is a E4400. I went in and bumped up the FSB to 220, but in CPU-Z its showing my multiplier as 6, and it will bump up to 10 every once in a while for maybe a second. Anyone have any ideas as to what I could be doing wrong?

Looks like you have speedstep enabled in the BIOS. Turn speedstep technology off, and it should not continue doing that.
