I just upgraded from Winamp 2.74 to Winamp 2.79 and I like it much better except for one thing. Whenever I launch a playlist by clicking on the .m3u file Winamp will load the playlist and then jump to the second song in the list and start playing it. No matter how I load the playlist or what settings I change it will always skip the first song and play the second one forcing me to manually start it back with the first song.

Is this a bug or is there some setting I need to change? I've tried changing the Shuffle option and the "Manual playlist advance" setting and it still skips the first song on loading the playlist.

is the first song in the playlist a valid path?

i mean, did u change the filename or the path of that particular mp3?

try removing that entry, and then re-dragging the mp3 there. then save the playlist and load it up again

same thing?

if so, then i'm stuck. This just sounds like an invalid link to the mp3

Yeah I thought the same thing about invalid link to mp3 file, except it does it to every playlist I have and even on new ones I create. It always skips the first song no matter what.

Since no one else is reporting the same problem as a bug I might try reinstalling since I can't figure out what is doing it.
