I recently installed an addition 2x512 kit for a total of 2GB ram, however since I populated 4 DIMMs I am unable to get the OC to work like it use to.
If I take the FSB directly to 250 the comp would not boot and will automatically reset the FSB back to 200.
However if I gradually increase it by 10mhz or so I can boot it at 250 FSB but it doesn't stick, next time I restart it resets back to 200.
So I think I can get it to work by changing some BIOS settings, memory timing, voltages? I have no idea what to try to get it to work.
PS I am using a memory divider (memory at 166mhz, 200Mhz after OC) on an Athlon 64 setup. Everything used to work perfectly before I installed the RAM.
Thanks!
