I have a amd 1800+ on an msi 266 pr02 board w 768 ram 60 gig hd. Now when it on on default bios it runs at 1.15 and is stable. when i go to advanced hardwhere settings it runs at the 1.53 that is what it is supposed to run at, but it is unstable. keeps restarting when i do anything for more than a few minutes. can anyone help me!!!!:frown:

with the performance settings tweaks all of your settings including changing your RAM to a CAS2 setting. I'm guessing that this is your problem. If I were you, I would use the default settings, but change your FSB to 133MHz to get the full power out of your CPU. Tell me your results, did it work or not?
