Help with new laptop running at half of its speed!

I have this laptop and its only reading 662.6 mhz core speed and the fsb is 110.4 mhz fsb according to windows and cpu-z. I checked in the bios and found nothing, any help would be appreciated! It still works great but i dont want to screw it up...

Make sure you have the proper and most updated Power Management drivers installed for Windows. I think it may be the PowerNow kicking in and down clocking your computer. I know my P3 laptop will only run at 700 instead of 900 MHz if I don't have the Power Management drivers installed.

 

Ok, Im gonna do that and see how it goes. Almost time for the movies ill mess with it more when i get back, the wierd thing is that im transfering files and browsing the internet so why would it powerdown?
