Help with new AMD System Build

I have been out of AMD land for 7 years!

Can anyone suggest some reading / suggestions to help select components to build a new AMD XP system?

anandtech has a pretty good starter there, also if you already know how to put a computer together, just go and browse in the motherboard forum on this site, they have some good info about motherboards stability, features etc.
