Ok, here's the deal, between my wife, my kids, and myself we have about 15 different pop3 mail accounts. Each of us has our own machine running Outlook pulling in the mail for our individual accounts. We want a solution for accessing our individual mail from any machine in the house, as well as through the web (say we're on vacation). Sure we can remote desktop into our individual machine, but this gets tricky and is nearly impossible to do if you're outside of the firewall/router.
Here's what I'm thinking:
Have one main home server where all mail comes in. Mail would continue to go to outlook, but mail would also be accessible from the web (say we're on vacation) to the home server. What I'm looking for is something similar to exchange server where mail can be left on the server and accessed through webmail, but I want the server to pull mail in from multiple isps.
I'd like all mail in one central location for backup reasons...
Does anybody have a solution or recommendations on how to this?
