hello all
before i left for work, i opened up netscape(6.2) and checked the boards real quick. i closed the proggie. i hit Shutdown. it musta been set to Restart on the start menu. i have NS runnign off of a Encrypted drive, run through my win2kpro OS. so when it restarted, i just hit the power before it finished running through the boot. I come home. It claims it was improperly shutdown. does the checks. ok whatever. i load up Netscape, and all of my settings are gone. Not there. Missing. ok. so i go looking. Sure nough, theres a file that the scandisk had found. open it. sure enough it contains a whole bunch of preferences, including all my email settings and all that. is there any way to fix?ive lost like 2-3 years worth of emails. yes i know. i shoulda backed it up. Shoulda coulda Didnt. oh yeah. my history went toast too..... any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Eagle
