Help with my TV out - Only Black and White.

The system is old: P4 1.6G, 512M PC133, Dell 4300, Nvidia MX4000 64MB video card w/ TV out.

I googled and updated the driver to the latest. And tangled with signal format: It's only black and white no matter how I change the format. The screen rolls real fast when the format is changed to PAL. NTSC gives it a stable picture but BW as hell.

Help please.

Make sure you don't have any other video cables connected to your TV. Mine goes black and white if I have multiple inputs into the TV.

Thanks for the input, Brian. I tried removing the network TV cable but no use. No other video input is hooked up. :(

Yes, you are right. I'm using Svid-RCA adapter. But I couldn't find where to set the output. Still searching...

Hope this is it!

I had the same problem with B/W picture using the S-Video cable. There is a setting in the Nvidia desktop that says what type of output it is. The default is Auto, I changed it to S-Video and it gave me color.

I tried all three options available: auto; composite; and s-video. Auto and S-vid gave me BW pictures and Composite gave me black screen. :(
