Help with my new computer

Well I finally got all the pieces of my computer today, and I set it up properly, but the monitor won't turn on when I turn it on. My setup is:

Abit KN8 SLi
Athlon 64 3200+ 939socket
MSI Geforce 6800
100GB Maxtor S-Ata Hard drive
PQI Turbo 1GB PC3200 RAM
Antec TruePower 430W

The monitor just won't turn on. Any suggestions on what I should try?
The monitor is a dell. I'm at my parents house so yeah. Not an LCD a CRT if that matters.

Does the video card require external power? Is the SLI stuff set correctly? Is there an onboard video that you need to disable?

no on board video, SLI is setup correctly, no power connector on my video card, no onboard, reset cmos, monitor works fine on other comps but this one just doesn't turn on when power is applied.

A long shot, but do you have another monitor to try w/ your comp?

The fan on the video card powers up fine? Any lights on it or anything(not familiar w/ the 6800)
