while playing a lot of time it will say the controller has been disconnected or the memory unit is being used or somthing, it life flashes on the screen and then i have to click continue playing. anyone know if its a problem with the controller or the dreamcast??

i disconnected the vmu but it still happened so i dunno. i just bought the dreamcast like less than a month ago so its farely new

Well, the DC controller comes out really easily, and if you knock it out it says that. 🙂 So check that out. I dunno.

Try the controller in another port and see what happens. If it continues, probably controller. If it stops, possibly bad port on the Dreamcast. Hard to say for certain though.

Sounds like a bad/dying controller. Is it the Sega one? If so, try it in another port or try another controller instead. Strip the system down to the DC and one single Sega brand controller.

If it stops happening then - add the other peripherals back one at a time until you find the culprit.

well i have 2 sega brand controlers, ill try em one at a time. i dont think its the battery in the vmu cuz thats fairly new
