Help with moving everything to a new hard drive

Hey guys, I got a 74gb raptor recently and want to move everything from my main drive to the raptor. OS, programs, files, everything.
How would I go about doing that without having to reformat and reinstalling everything?

I don't think a drag and drop would work in this case. lol.

You need a disk copy program like Norton Ghost. If you bought the drive retail it should have come with a disk copy utiltiy, or you can go to the manufacturer's website and download it.

Keep in mind this is only straightforward if the drive interface is the same. If you're going from EIDE to SATA you'll need to do a Windows Repair Install or it won't work.

Crap. Thx for the heads up on the troubles going from EIDE to SATA. I have done Windows Repair and it kinda lagged up my computer afterwards.
I guess I might have to go with a fresh reformat to make my computer more stable again.
