Okay, I've been getting mad problems lately with my mouse losing all "acceleration" in WinXP Pro. My setup is the following: MS Natural Pro plugged into the USB port, MS Optical mouse plugged into back of keyboard, Belkin n50 plugged into back of keyboard.

Now I did a google search on it and found this thread over at the VIA Arena Forums. One guy mentioned that he bought an add-on card and it solved his problems. Yes, I have a VIA Mobo (see WinXP system in sig).

So my question is either one of the following:
1. Anybody else have a better solution than buying something new?
2. Would my setup still work fine going thru an add-on card? That is, would the keyboard/mouse still register in the BIOS (it currently does)?

Thanks.

It sounds like you`ve too much power being drawn from your USB devices on your keyboard so try disconnecting the Belkin n50,does that improve stability?I would get a powered USB hub, also you could try installing the VIA USB filter driver 1.10 from here .
