help with midi drum controller

i have a yamaha dd55 and want to record what i play and/or be able to hear what i play on my computer with selectable sounds for each drum. is it possible to do this in reason or fruity loops, or should i be using something else and if so, what?

Reasons Redrum should be able to work side by side with the controller, check out their site and maybe the FAQ or something. www.propellerheads.se I've seen a demo video at some con where they had a big controller using it in reason.

yeah, i figured out how to use all the buttons in redrum except for the triggers. redrum won't allow me to map the triggers.

hm, most triggers are mappable AFAIK. Still suggest asking propellerheads or checking the program faq / documentation.
