help with LCD monitor

I have a Samsung TFT LCD 941bw and it's currently on Digital input with DVI off of a 6600GT wiht correct drivers.

What happens is when I boot the PC the monitor will just read analog/digital and never give me display, then once windows welcome screen starts it comes on...

others monitors like my HP stay on the whole time.

It could have to do with your card making the DVI port the secondary port (unless they are both DVI, in which case switch it to the other port) and therefore it may not kick on until the Windows drivers take over.
