ok im having problems with my Fujitsu life book C series, my OS is not booting and I need to reinstall it, now the problem is that my Laptop's keyboard is not working, and the windows installation is not detecting my USB keyboard but instead the laptop's keyboard with many inoperative keys, I cannot find any option in the BIOS to turn off the keyboard of give USB keyboard a priority any idea???.
Thanks in advance

USB can work w/out the OS; I use my wireless Logitech all the time on my desktop.
However, for a laptop...........you don't have a PS/2 keyboard? If you don't see it in the BIOS than chances are you can't enable it.

Look for a "enable legacy USB support" option or something along those lines. Not all PCs support USB outside of windows but most newer ones do. Check Fujitsus website and see if they have any documents regarding your laptop and using a USB keyboard. GL

i used to work with fujitsus, there were several generations of C series, but i dont think that model has legacy, its a few years old
