<< MSI is exceptional quality and legendary MSI stability. >>

Yield: Hopefully your bad temper will not surface, but apparently you never experienced MSI's original KT266 blunder, as I did. I know it's been almost a year, but surely you recall the infamous R126/R127 resistor fiasco on their K7T266. I had one of those boards and it was a nightmare! In spite of several reputable sites (including Anandtech and TomsHardware) pronouncing their board to be flawed, MSI remained in denial and attempted to ignore the entire problem. I can tell you flat out that their support throughout that episode was pathetic!

As for Soltek, there aren't too many ppl with that board yet so although it apparently is a good performer, it's still a big unknown - with very questionable support.

Right on senior guy - been there, done that. No more MSI boards for me either!

Presuming that palominon00b wants a basic board, besides the 3 listed, the Gigabyte GA-7VTX series are good and stable boards (but not great overclockers).
