Has anyone installed Windows 2000 with the Iwill KK266 and Kyro 2? I am trying to dual boot with Win98SE, and have been spending the last few nights trying to figure out how.

From all the threads that I've read, the ACPI in W2K is the major problem for video cards that requires a IRQ by itself. It will assign every card to IRQ 11, and for me, it will crash when it is almost done loading windows. I have tried to disable ACPI in the device manager(KK266 does not have ACPI in BIOS) by installing the Standard PC, but it still has conflict after this. I have 5 PCI cards + the Kyro, and it seems like its impossible to get rid of the IRQ sharing.

Anybody have any experience in doing this?

Don't have the Kyro card, but for disabling ACPI in the bios, go here and try the custom bios that can disable ACPI in the bios... They have a very comprehensive guide for KK266 as well.

And of course, flash bios at your own risk... :D
