I am using a Pipeline 75 ISDN/router connected to a switch for my local lan. Up to about three weeks ago it worked fine with one computer but when I used two at once on the connection data flow would stop after X amount of time. Maybe 5-10 minutes. So I decided to update the firmware thinking it may solve the problem with two computers. Well two fireware upgrades later, at most recent now, problem is worse. Now it starts with normal data flow then after a few minutes it stops and pauses for minutes with occational small transmissions of data. I am using NAT, with one IP from the ISP, set IP addresses on the computers on the lan and I have two DNS IP addresses installed.
Phones work just fine on the two channels/lines and the ISDN shows good 128k connections when both channels are connected for data.
Using my anolog modem on one of the isdn channels now to post this. Works fine so I am assuming the problem is in my ISDN/router on my end or something on the ISP ISDN connection end. Setting? Hardware? Thanks for any help.
Total baffled and frustrated.
