help with internet explorer

hi,
ive been browsing the web yesterday and i think i mightve downloaded some kind of shi**y dialer software! I let norton scan the system but it didnt find anything.

now my problem is, everytime i open up internet explorer and want to go to a website it redirects me to a porn site!!, ive checked the hosts file and made sure its clean. what else can i do?, i dont really want to reformat.

Have you tried running Adaware/ SpybotSD/ RegCleaner?

thats what im gonna try next i didnt do that yet, im not on that computer right now so ill do it later

i also recommend a Trojan scanner like TDS-3 or TheCleaner.
