OK so for some reason I've lost that bottom bar on IE. The one that says if a page is opening, or displays the URL when you hover over a link, etc.

I can't find out for the life of me how to get it back and its really annoying. Any ideas? Thanks

I can't get my home page to keep, it always switches to some fake Search engine called searchdot, it's pissing me off :|.

Run adaware.

Adaware doesn't work for that I've tried it when I had the same problem. You got to go into registry and change some stuff. Don't got all the details though.

Doesn'talways remain there... Goes away sometimes. Same with the Links toolbar up top.

Select it, close IE right away, open it up again, if it's not there select it again, close IE. It should remember to stay there after two times. It does for me anyways.

It's probably doing that because you are entering an url from a folders address bar instead of using IE
