Help with home network yet again.. (yet)

HAve computer a. Windows XP professional, (connected to the internet) Computer b. win 98se Connected via lan to computer a.

having troulbe getting xp to share the internet connection. I have done this before and it was really quite easy to set up.. However trying to do this on another set up and it is causing problems.. I try to run the internet connection sharing wizard and It comes up with an error that says Spooler sub system app. error..

any ideas to help out??

Computer B. Will connect to computer a. You can see it over the lan, access hd ect... However comptuer a. will not see computer b. any ideas or things to check?

any ideas why the crazy networking wizard won't finish it for me????? I know there must be something I am missing, Just can't find it.. I have wrote down exact configurations from the same set up at a different location and put them in the computers the exact same but they still won't work.. any help? please??

okay.. This is what I know so far as well.. I can get the win 98se one working just fine on hooked up to a different network with the same design(winxp - win 98)

When I tried renewiing the netgear card under winipcfg in win 98 it comes up with and error something about not able to talk with the DHCP......

any ideas?? it is looking like the problem is with the xp computer... please help!!

so ya think a spooler sub system error means that something with the printer is conflicting? or a bad driver or something like that?
