Help with Gamesurround Fortissimo II please

I am getting a popping sound when I play some of my mpeg music videos.
Is this normal with this card?
I did not get this popping sound with my audigy card.
I am running xp pro and I installed the latest drivers.
Idea's anyone?

btw - I get the same popping sound through my headphones. so I do not think it was my speakers.

Um... All I can suggest is to try installing it in a different slot (3 is usually good)
