Help with Flashing bios please...

I have a old Diamond Stealth III Savage 4 S540 AGP 16MB OEM 4809 video card and want to flash the bios to the newest version 256E4809. When I boot from DOS and type A:\dflash 256E4809.ROM I get a message that says:
No Supported Flash Device Found.
Flash Vendor ID = 0x4d, Device ID = 0xb2

This is on a ABIT VA6 motherboard with the newest bios.

Can anyone help me here? What does this mean? Do I need to find a newer Flashing software? If So, Where? etc...

Thanks...

Looks to me like the problem is that you're trying to flash the OEM card with the retail BIOS.
At least, that's how I would interpret the error message.
I've seen similar error messages when trying to flash Micron OEM Intel motherboards with factory Intel BIOSes.

Just curious -- why are you doing this? Problems you hope to fix, or just 'cuz it's there 😉 ?

Thanks for the reply, but no, this is the 4809 bios upgrade, it's for this OEM card. Doing it because the card is not working correctly with the drivers, under winMe or WinXP.
Anyone else, know what
"No Supported Flash Device Found.
Flash Vendor ID = 0x4d, Device ID = 0xb2"
could mean?
