ok, put everything together and nothing. unhooked everything but a fan it would come on, hook up hd, no dice. psu came with case, so went and got a new psu, hooked everything up, it started posting, then said safe mode and checksum error, then the monitor read save power mode. cant get it out oif save power mode, put vid card back in my old pc and it works? everything is powered up, i think. speaker was working earlier not now....help
 
Sounds like your motherboard if you can't post now. Same thing just happened to me a few days ago, and now I'm waiting for a new one.
 
Sounds like you may be trying to install HD with previous install of Windows.

If the previous install of windows was done on a system with different hardware, i.e., mobo you are likely experiencing driver conflicts.

If this is the case, I always reformat/reinstall.

yea it posted for a minute, now cant get monitor of the power save screen, no beep codes now

cleared cmos and got beeps, need to know how to get them back?
