Help with Firefox

How did that happen, and more importantly, how do I fix it?

I have been using Firefox for over a year and I could always type in my search criteria in the address bar and I want it back.

TIA

If I understand your problem correctly, you just need to click on the Yahoo icon and it'll bring up a list of all the search engines available. Google should be first on the list.

That is on the right search option. I saw that. In the main address bar is what the problem is. It now uses Yahoo search

I'd use Opera...

But if you want to fix this, right click on your menu bars and click "customize" drag the address bar anywhere outside of the window to remove it completely, then find the appropriate address bar in the list it provides, ad just drag that into the right place where your old address bar was.

Tried that but did not fix anything. I think my wife must have installed something that changed Yahoo search to use the address bar search.

Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox did not help either.

Is there some sort of uninstaller for Firefox that would remove it along with any registry entries?
