Help with finding software to monitor a webpage that changes???

I am looking for something I am not even sure exists, basically there are a few webpages that I check regularly to see if there have been any changes (updates). I would like to find something that would somehow autocheck the page and if so alert me or email me when and or if a change has been made to that page.

If such a tool, software whatever exists can you point me to a link to it?

It's called rss. If your chosen sites don't support it, call the maintainers and tell them to get off their lazy arses 😉
