Ok, can anyone explain why this is happening? Here is my problem. I have a 160gb HDD (Maxtor) in a Nexstar 2 external enclosure connected via Firewire to my shuttle. Windows detects it and everything, but when I look around the drive it freezes after just a little bit. When I go down to click the little green arrow in the system tray I get this error:
Problem Ejecting Prolific PL3507 Combo Device (1394-ATAPI rev1.10) IEEE 1394 SBP2 Device. The device 'Generic volume' cannot be stopped right now. Try stopping the device again later.
Then it just has the "ok" button. I can try it 5 mins later or hours and still gives me that error. Does anyone know why this is happening? Turning it of and back on after a little doesn't do anything at all, so I am assuming it has something to do one of the proesses windows loads but I'm not sure of which one. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
