help with eBay conundrum... scam or no scam?

selling items on ebay
guy wants to buy 5 of them
has over 100 feedbacks
97% positive

5 total negative feedbacks
between july 25 and july 27: the negative feedbacks concerned requests to ship to nigeria
latest feedback was on aug 23 and positive.


guy wants to buy $1000 worth of stuff from me
i ask about the negative feedback
says his ebay account was hijacked

he sent me the $1000 via paypal and has a paypal verified address.
his ebay username and his email address are the same
Wants me to ship to massachusetts

So seems legit but that nigeria feedback is fishy... what are your thoughts??

So I have the ~$1000 in my paypal account. HOWEVER he wants me to ship to a different address that is in the same zip code. I should ONLY ship to the verified address right?

It seems legit but still fishy with that recent feedback... I don't want to sound like a d!ck... but I need to protect myself... so only verified addresses right guys?

Does seem fishy but if his address and paypal acct are confirmed and verified, you should be protected (as much as paypal will protect you at least).

Doesn't ebay remove bad feedbacks/etc that result from account theft? I thought they stated that somewhere and I'm too lazy to look.
