Help with Dreamcast $50 rebate

Help with Dreamcast $50 rebate. I called an set up my account with sega.net. Now, I supposed to use the web browser to log onto sega.net using my dreamcast. When I bootup the dreamcast I get asked for a local ISP or to sign up with AT&T. I can't select local ISP because I have a cable internet account. I don't want to pay for AT&T access just for the $50 rebate. Anyone successfully gotten through using their dreamcast and have any tips or pointers??

Just use the SegaNet account. It's free for awhile (I think you get it free till the 26th, then +50 hrs after that). If you haven't already, call 1-800-SEGA-USA (note: it may be 1-800-USA-SEGA) and tell them you would like to activate your free account (note: you don't even have to cancel it, if you don't want to pay for it, just simply let the alloted time rn out and it auto cancels at no charge to you).

The will help you set the settings up (there's only a couple) including a local number to dial into.

Thanks for the reply. I've called twice and neither person mentioned a way to dial into a local sega isp. They both told me that I had to use my isp or start an account with AT&T. Chances are they just have no idea.
