I posted this under networking but I got no responses. Mods delete/remove if necessary.
-----------------------------
I'm on a DI-604 router and I am having lots of trouble trying to set up the ports for BT correctly.
I already went to d-link's webpage and followed their instructions to the letter on how to change the firewall correctly so that the ports on BT would work. No go.
I also played around with both the Virtual Server options AND Special application options. In both cases I tried many different ways (different port numbers, TCP, UDP, etc), yet still no go.
I am totally out of ideas on what to do. My status light on my BT client (Shadow 5.7.2) is always yellow.
If anyone knows how to fix this, or if you have this specific router and know your way around it, please let me know how to fix. Thanks.
Honkey.
