the screen froze and i reset it in back. now it comes up with only the palm computing platform screen. suggestions please.
 
Try removing the batteries for about 5 minutes... That should reset everything. Mine uses AAA batteries. I don't know what kind yours uses.
 
thanks, but it's a palmvx with the lithium batts. i guess i'll wait until the batts discharge on their own and see what happens.
 
hconnorjr, did you try a "hard-reset?" This wipes your Vx to factory fresh, but erases ALL your info. It's a bit different than a soft reset where you just push the recessed button on the back of the Vx.
