Should be fine. Good PSUs don't turn on the fan till they hit a certain load. The system you listed isn't close to stressing that PSU.

But you have a top of the line psu that's supposed to not turn on the fan below a certain load. The CX600 doesn't have that zero rpm fan mode like Corsair calls it.

abzs, are you really sure the fan isn't spinning? If so you should return the unit.

That is true. However, he's testing a single 270x. I imagine with such a low load, it shouldn't be spinning for him either. The point is it seems it's working fine (since all the other signs of it working are there.)

If you didn't even have a graphics card, then the fan definitely wouldn't have spun up.

Umm im pretty sure the CX series dont have a silent mode... That fan should be spinning all the time.

I have the CX500m, bought a few weeks back, the fan was on all the time, even without a graphics card using the onboard HD4600.

Its not there, it dosent have zero RPM fan mode. I could be wrong and they may have updated the line but not the website but im 95% sure thats not the case and it should be spinning all the time regardless of load/temp. It will only vary the RPM, never stop.
