The school I work at recently installed security cameras around the building. A few days ago someone was caught on camera destroying school property. The school needs to forward a copy of the video surveillance to the police, but we can't get the DVR to output to VHS. The DVR has a BNC output on the back of the box which normally feeds a main security monitor with similar connection.
We've tried running the BNC output to the back of the VCR input by using a BNC to "F" adaptor, then outputting from the VCR to a TV with regular coax cable. We know the VCR to TV connection works correctly, so we assume there is some sort of mixup coming from the digital DVR to the VCR. Talking to customer support, they told us to use an RF adapter but this did not help. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
