are there different types of coolant for different w/c kits or does it not matter what kind of coolants are use?

my friend got himself one of those premade w/c kids (3D Galaxt II) and was asking me this question... so im asking you pros here for this 🙂 ty
 
Just distilled water w/ PT_Nuke Biocide and Pentosin G11 Additive from Petrastechshop.com
 
so i just need to mix water + pt nuke and pentosin g11 together?

how is that better then just getting an already mixed coolant?
 
it's a lot cheaper. you can make a couple gallons if you mix it yourself for the same price of a quart of pre-mixed coolant.

before people confuse you.

does your friend have any mix metals in the loop? Meaning is something made of ALU and another thing made of copper?

You need to inspect each metal that the water gets in contact with.

For safety as well as warrenty issues, i would recomend you pick up a gigabyte watercooling coolant premix. If you run into any problems, they wont do an RMA for you if your not using there required coolant.
