I have approximately $1350US to spend on a computer (converted from $2000 CDN). This computer will be mainly used for gaming.

BTW, those Duron motherboards are so damn expensive!
 
Well your not compromising that much performance to a celeron2 for $30 or $40 are you? Get a Duron 600 (the T-Bird 700 is just $9 more than Duron 700) overclock it to 900-950. I'd go A7V (expensive but worth it) and 128 MB of RAM (most will say you need more but you don't.) Lots o' gaming? GF2 MMX will be out shortly (I think).
