I want to try and make some with some old woofers and tweeters i have, but the crossovers are very expensive. Is there a way to make your own or a place to buy inexpensive ones? I looked on ebay and there are only a few so i am not sure if i am searching for the right thing. The are just called component crossovers, right?

There are two kinds of crossovers, active crossovers and passive crossovers. I'm assuming your talking about the passive crossovers which only requires capacitors, resistors, and inductors.

I don't remember the exact formula for the crossover component values, but if you do a search on google, it'll be everywhere. Search for "passive crossover filter". You will need to pick the capacitor and inductor values to suit your crossover frequency.

For woofers, low-pass filter it and set the crossover frequency at around 80-150, depending on how you like your bass to sound. For tweeters, high-pass filter it at a few kilohertz
