Hi there. Does anyone know where to find guides to make your own clear case. Anyone have any ideas how to make one and what tools are involved. I have seen a couple pictures and I need to do something with my BP6 once I put my Duron1000 together.

Thanks for the help:confused:

I bought an almost-100-percent see-thru clear case from colorcases.com and it is really classy and pretty. I can see the entire interior (mobo, drives, power supply, adapters, cables) thru the case. The case is entirely made of high-quality plastic.

Thanks for the great information. Any idea where to buy the materials or is it just a better idea to order a premade case.

At first I was going to get my dad (owns a glass factory.. deals with aluminum and plastic too) to make me the side panel. But then I noticed the awesome beveled edges on the ones sold by Clear View and figured it'd be cheaper and less of a hassle to just order through them.

Check out DeisgnComp, they make clear cases also. I want one bad, but I'm not sure if ~$200 for the case, plus the powersupply and fans is worth $300-$400.

building it yourself gets that "i did it" satisfaction. I didn't have all the tools, so i worked w/ my friend on it for a while, and I'm happy I did. He has a lot more experience build stuff, as his dad is in da remodlin business he has a nice little workshop to work in :) Specifically, when it came to the side pannel, we used some cool thumb screw type things.
